Melanie and I are very grateful to have your continuing support.  With the growth of the business has come new challenges, and one of these is finding entrepreneurs that meet our criteria for micro-finance loans.  Recently we added a couple of new loans to our portfolio, and one of these included an entrepreneur from Mexico.  You might not think of Mexico as a gem-producing country on par with Brazil or Nigeria or Tanzania, but actually many gemstones of interest to collectors (and valued for jewelry) are coming from Mexico.  Fire agate, opal, and a diverse group of agates are making their way to the world supply.

We are thrilled with our growth, and also with our opportunity to help people who are hard-working to achieve their goals.  Independent business is a challenging way to make a living, and we salute these people and our clients who make our support possible!

We are thrilled that our entrepreneurs have been so diligent in repaying their loans and this just strengthens our resolve to continue supporting entrepreneurs in countries that produce the gemstones that we sell.
